Red-light District
Prostitution is legal in Holland, and in Amsterdam most of it is concentrated in the Red Light District. This area -known in Dutch as the Rosse Buurt- is not very big but it is plenty of red lights and neon signs; it constitutes a very amazing place at night, when the lights reflect on the canals’ waters. Erotic theaters, bordellos, dark and noisy bars, red-fringed window parlors, bookstores, video libraries, and dedicated apparel and appliance stores can be found in this interesting site of the city.
