Description
The hotel was built by the command of a British aristocrat named John Crichton-Stuart, who was one of the fourth Marquis of Bute who also had interests in the "International Zone". The style of the hotel captures the traditional interior design of Morocco but also entwining the comfort of an English gentleman's club.

The hotel acquired a well deserved reputation within the most luxurious hotel in North Africa, over time no hotel has achieved the same charm as El Minzah or its unrivalled position as the leading hotel in northern Morocco.
