Acapulco is a captivating destination, a dream paradise of fascinating natural beauties which offers a magical environment together with mysticism, tradition and the warmth of the Mexican people.

It is one of the Mexican favourite destinations and the most popular beach on the pacific coast. It possesses a warm and humid climate, and bright sunny days during most of the year.

Avenida Miguel Alemán is an always lively avenue that runs along the coast where magnificent and luxury hotels, and shopping centres rise up. It offers 20 kilometres (14.3 mi) of golden beaches, soft waves, warm waters and unequalled beautiful palms within a unique scenery blended with the Sierra Madre mountains, lagoons and the tropical fauna.

There are countless options for everyone. It is impossible to get bored as its leisure offer is quite wide: tennis courts, tours on boat, incredible pools and golf courses. Acapulco is a city that never sleeps; fun and music are part of the nightlife. Enjoy a night show full of adrenalin: the cliff divers jump carrying torches from La Quebrada, a 35 metre-high cliff, venue for the Cliff Diving World Championship.

Interesting sites to be visited are the Fort of San Diego and the modern amusement centres with diving boards, water games and aquariums.

For shopping, there are many options: glamorous boutiques and shopping centres, and even markets where Mexican handicrafts can be purchased.

The Bay of Santa Lucía is the ideal site for water sport lovers: diving among incredible marine flora and species, sport fishing and waters-skiing, among other possibilities.
