Description
The beautiful surroundings of Rueda, Valladolid, are home to the impressive underground wineries of Grupo Yllena. In this vineyard, wine itself is combined with art, mythology, history and culture, paving the way to a variety of sensations and feelings. Inside an mysterious cave, 20 metres deep and over a kilometre long, an intricate labyrinth of wine awaits you. In a bid to offer the visitor a unique experience, Grupo Yllena attempts to blend the rich flavours of their wine with the rich story of the mythical Minotaur. Developing “Ariadne's thread,”we will get to know the characteristics and superb qualities of the wines of Grupo Yllena; sparkling wine, Rueda whites and reds, vintage wine in casks and bottles, and Yllera Dominus, the winery's crown jewel.

Guided tours are offered to “Ariadne's thread”, as well as dinners and business lunches... all within an unbeatable setting.

*Meal: Starter based on traditional Spanish cuisine: Potatoes and grilled ribs, beans and lentils or garlic soup. Main course: Barbecued lamb cutlets served with a mixed salad. Also includes dessert, coffee, the “house wine” and “orujo” a liquor distilled from grapes and herbs.
