Description
In 1999, after purchasing a plot of around 500,000 square feet in an area near Ronda called Chinchilla, the Bodega Doña Felisa winery was born. In the past, Chinchilla was a town famed for its winemaking.

The land on which Bodega Doña Felisa is situated consists of sandy loam, with its easy drainage perfect for creating the region's fabulous wines, including Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

To obtain the best results, Bodega Doña Felisa employs a system known as Viticultura Integrada (Integrated Winemaking), employing fully regulated control methods carried out according to the company's strict environmentally-friendly criteria.

Guided tours
Enjoy a guided tour around the winery, where the qualified staff will take you through each step of the wine-making process. After the tour you will have the chance to try some of the winery's own produce, which you can buy at special prices. You will also have the opportunity to visit the nearby ruins of the Roman city of ACIPINO, where you can observe the recent excavations.

Courses
Doña Felisa organises, promotes and sponsors courses on wine-tasting and oenology. These courses are led by the winery staff, who are all qualified wine experts and can bring you closer to the world of wine. These are short and practical programmes, which will provide you with the necessary tools to get the most out of your wine.
